Today we had a workshop with A typographer from Dalton Maag, a type foundry. Though I have always found type design incredibly hard I enjoyed this workshop.
There was so much thought and just overall 'observing' that goes into creating an effective typeface.
Though It hasn't completely changed my idea about type I can definitely respect it more. I really like the work they produce. Practicing and learning the process was a fun experience and i'd definitely like to explore that more in the future.
