I began by choosing a variety of sans-serif typefaces. I wanted it to be strong but feminine.
Many of these typefaces can be cold and corporate, which is very far from the personality I want to market. After choosing one which seemed the most 'approachable' I went would editing the letterforms to something more friendly.
Only working with my first name I experimented with shortening the all letters. I then thought to shorten just the i's even more so to offset the rest of the type. I experimented with type and the thickness of all the letter forms.

I changed the shape of the B, aiming for more rounded angles. I was trying to keep the whole feel soft and round and tried the the text within shapes. Though I was headed in the right direction, I was not loving the design I had made.
