One of my first initial tasks were to look at offices in leeds and places that we could potentially work. This is a lost of the few places I came across.

Triangle, Studio Share
136 sq ft share of 366 sq ft studio with 3 other artists
@£225 per month (plus electricity).

Timber Wharf, Arch 36
Large Studio Share.

Half share of 1,409 sq ft railway arch available (to share with one other tenant). Rent £840 per month, inclusive of business rates. Tenant will also consider smaller shares @£280 per month. Water and electricity billed separately. Also includes large modern desk, shelving, cleaning, kitchen facilities and broadband access via network cable or wifi. Roller shutter security. Available immediately.

Fully refurbished and insulated railway arch between Hoxton and Haggerston stations off Laburnum Street, E2, nr Shoreditch. Secure gated development.

​2 x ​Studio/desk space​s​ available @£195 pcm​ each​ inclusive of bills (rent, telephone, wifi, water, cleaner) for artist/creative in 1,200 sq ft open plan railway arch in Haggerston / Hoxton. The arch is situated off Kingsland Road in a gated complex and is one in a row of 8 creative spaces.

Within the studio there is a large private desk space for each creative, with extra private storage facilities. We also have a communal workspace, shared kitchen/lounge, photography/video studio/display space. Excellent public transport links – 5 minutes walk to Haggerston Overground station. Wifi, entry phone, gated estate, car parking, 24-hr access, 3 minutes to shops and Regent’s Canal.


Aire Street Workshops
Located only a minutes walk from Leeds Railway Station, Aire Street Workshops are handy for all city centre transport links. The building was developed in 1981, opened by Lord Bellwin and owned by Leeds City Council. It was refurbished using grants from the Department of the Environment and the City Council.

There are 27 units averaging 400 square feet on four floors. Aire Street also has a lift and stairs to all floors and there is extremely limited parking available. Parking permits are allocated to a limited number of licensees. Visitors parking permits are required for all loading and unloading (limited to 30 minutes duration).

Aire street we felt was most suited to our needs. It was central and near by the train station and bus stations. Many hotels surround it, to accommodate clients.

Because the 'start-up' system ends after three years at the workshops, if we still wanted to stay in the same area, there are many stylish more expensive spaces, we could comfortably expand to. Especially because its a very creative area, where hopefully we will make lasting clients/friends.
