Manchester Artists Bookfair

Manchester Artists' Book Fair has been up and running since 2006.  It was started by Manchester School of Art's Neil Grant and the Righton Press; after four years it was taken over by Hot Bed Press printmakers' studio, Salford, who have run it since then in association with the Manchester School of Art.  The fair is held in Manchester School of Art's Holden Gallery.

Above everything the Fair was good for inspiration, not only for binding and publication but other elements like stock and folding techniques. It has definitely re kindled my love for binds and printed products, as someone who has worked almost only digitally for the past two years. 

This year will be the year to experiment. Hopefully I'll write briefs that will allow me to produce many different type of print media.
